戎ヶ丘 is a rural town surrounded by mountains. In this declining town, the student, Fukami Hinako, was feeling lost and without direction. That morning, Hinako met up with her classmates at her usual candy store, and they were engaged in some lighthearted chatter. It should have been just another ordinary day. But then, "that monster" appeared.
