Mamoru, a plain and serious boy aiming to be an elite, enrolls as the top student in his dream high school after intense studying. However, by chance, he catches the eye of Kousaku, who is trying to establish a "Portrait Club" with the goal of "drawing a large self-portrait on Earth," and accidentally becomes a member. Mamoru is frustrated that his academic path is being hindered by Kousaku's wild and unreasonable goals, but he always finds himself cooperating with Kousaku, who involves others in pursuing his dreams.
