I used to wonder what kind of people run away at night... but actually, they're just ordinary people like us, who could be anywhere... A "Yonigeya" (night escape service) is a company that helps people move when they want to escape from abusive partners, toxic parents, and so on. This is a comic essay realistically depicting the shocking realities that become visible once you step inside, even in families that appear normal from the outside, drawn by an author who actually works at a Yonigeya. Shinichi Miyano, the author, was struggling to become a manga artist and didn't know what he wanted to draw. One day, he saw a job called "Yonigeya" on TV and decided he wanted to draw a manga about it and the female president who runs it, so he requested an interview. On the day of the interview, Miyano accompanied them to a night escape scene and ended up helping. After witnessing the intense scene, he was hired by the Yonigeya at the president's command. From the perspective of someone working at a Yonigeya, it depicts the suffering and conflicts faced by people who run away at night.
