In Fuji Village, where the legend of the Snow Goddess remains, preparations begin on New Year's Day for a ritual held on the coldest day of the year. The young men of the "Three Offering Families," who carry the strong bloodline of the Snow Goddess, spend the days leading up to the ritual with the "Spring Herald," who is to be the sacrifice. Living in a closed world bound by legends and laws, the young men notice numerous mysteries regarding the village and the ritual, and eventually, the village is struck by an unprecedented situation—.
